CHANTILLY, Va. – June 19, 2022 All Traffic Solutions awarded a Shield 12 radar speed sign to Wabesboro Police Department through the company’s ATS Gives Back initiative.
Over the years, All Traffic Solutions found that police departments in smaller communities have a need for All Traffic Solutions signs but lack the necessary funds and do not qualify for grants. The ATS Gives Back goal is to bridge this gap by donating radar speed signs to communities in need each month. ATS Gives Back recipients also receive a subscription to TraffiCloud®, All Traffic Solutions’ patented traffic device, and data management system.
The Wadesboro Police Department serves the roughly 5,800 citizens of Wadesboro, North Carolina. The 6.6 square mile town has four state highways that converge within its limits. Being east of Wilmington and west of Charlotte, Wadesboro experiences one of the highest traffic volumes on a daily basis per capita in North Carolina. Wadesboro Police Department plans to use their Shield 12 radar speed sign to reduce speeding on Camden Road, specifically the stretch of road by Wadesboro Elementary School. The sign will act as a force multiplier to assist their 25 officers working hard to keep the community safe.
