LPR Camera-Ready Trailers
LPR camera-ready trailers are equipped with a radar speed or variable message sign along with LPR (license plate recognition) technology. The license plate readers capture the license plates of cars driving on roads. They are used to help locate vehicles of interest, apprehend suspects, and recover stolen vehicles. LPR cameras are mostly used by law enforcement.
Now, we are offering an option to enhance your existing system by offering a high-quality radar message trailer that is compatible with your existing LPR technology. We work with your preferred camera brand to ensure that the LPR camera system of your choosing is seamlessly installed on our mobile trailers. Over the past year, our skilled team has built over 100 LPR-ready trailers to meet the needs of our customers. With that experience, our skilled team knows the intricacies of integrating our trailers with numerous LPR cameras. This allows us to deliver a fully integrated and easy-to-deploy solution upon delivery.
We can attach cameras to our trailers in a variety of ways: in a two-camera enclosure box, to the crossbar at the top of the trailer, to the middle of the trailer frame, or in a compartment on the back of the battery box.

Designed for rapid deployment, the ATS 5 FLEX trailer allows you to position and power your tech whenever and wherever needed. With 380W solar assist, this trailer provides extended runtime for your equipment. The power can support both the technology and data collection.
If you are simply looking for a trailer with additional power, the expanded solar and battery built into our FLEX trailers provide you extended run time to deploy the trailer with the traffic sign for longer periods of time throughout the year. In the meantime, you can still use this traffic sign trailer to share important information and reduce speeding in your community.

Radar Message or Variable Message Sign
Each trailer, whether FLEX, ALPR Camera-Ready, or Surveillance-Ready, can come equipped with either an InstAlert variable message board or a SpeedAlert radar message sign making them a traffic sign board as well.
Mobility
Trailers feature a simple manual lever with a lift-assist system for a quick 1-person setup. No special equipment is needed to transport our trailers— they can be towed by any size vehicle with a 2” receiver hitch.
Built to Last
Our trailers are rugged and durable, withstanding harsh weather conditions. The continuous weld steel frame and marine-grade powder coat finish can withstand heavy rain, snow, ice, and extreme temperatures without rusting. Most of our trailers are still in use after 10+ years in the field.

All ATS radar speed and message signs have the option to be remotely managed through TraffiCloud®. TraffiCloud is our secure, cloud-based management platform.
